We are delighted to be able to support Skye Camanachd in their fundraising efforts for a new Stand, the statement below (in bold) is from the Clubs Facebook page.

Donnie Martin had a huge impact on so many lives, both in shinty circles and his professional role in the community, it would be very fitting for Skye Camanachd to be able to follow through on Donnie’s desire for a Stand at Pairc nan Laoch,

✨ NEW FUNDRAISER ✨
The Donnie Martin Stand
We’ve launched a fundraising campaign to gather funds for a new stand at Pairc nan Laoch, in memory of one of the club’s most prominent figures, Donnie Martin.
Shinty and Skye Camanachd played a major role in Donnie’s life for over 50 years, from when he started off playing for Portree High School in the early 1970s and until he was Skye Camanachd Chieftain at the time of his untimely passing in May 2022. Donnie occupied almost every position within the club in-between times.
Donnie’s ambition was always that Skye Camanachd could build a main stand to accompany their ambitious Skye Camanachd Clubhouse building at its Pairc nan Laoch pitch in Portree and a group of fundraisers have got together to ensure this comes to fruition.

We are donating the £500 Cash Prize, so all the money raised from the tickets will go to Skye Camanachd to help with the costs of building The Donnie Martin Stand!
